Hello world!

I find that these words are the appropriate ones so I’ll keep them up there even though they’re the ones that came with the template. I find them appropriate because “Hello world!” are the first words you “print” when you’re writing code.  I’m not actually a coder… yet. For the past three years I’ve been a model and actress in Puerto Rico but life has taken an interesting turn, I now live in Miami and I’m in the pursuit of taking some programming classes. A model turned coder. Might not be a first but it sure rolls of the tongue?

I sincerely had never thought of having a blog or using WordPress but because of the aspirations we have of becoming coders, my boyfriend and I have been using MeetUp to get around the city and learn as much as possible. As a result we stumbled upon WordCamp Miami. We are only taking the beginners course tomorrow starting at 7am. I decided that I should at least have an account so here I am at 12am writing a small blog. Is it a blog? I don’t know. I’m still learning so many things and now that I think about it I want to take you on that journey with me.

I’ll document my experience while I learn to code, to expand my network, to start and manage the handmade jewelry business I have with my dad (oh yes, there’s MORE) and hopefully it’ll be an exciting experience to read and write about.

Thank you and wish me luck!
